of the SCA (known as OP)
is a Noble Rank conferred
upon a deserving
individual by the King
& Queen of a Kingdom.
Those of the Noble Order
of the Pelican hold a
Patent of Arms, equal to
that of Laurel and
Knight. They are
considered to be master
level achievers in
service and
administrative arts on
behalf of their King
& Queen, the people
of their Kingdom and the
SCA at large.
They are those who have
consistently displayed
the values of honor and
chivalry though the
consistent giving of
selfless service without
regard to rank or station
or thought of personal
reward
