The
Baronial Music
Guild is known as
Tempus Perfectum.
We attempt to
play period
Medieval and
Renaissance
music, note that
the Renaissance
style of music
extended a little
beyond 1600,
depending on the
composer.
We
are dedicated to
singing and
playing music in
the SCA.
Tempus
Perfectum
regularly
participates in
Arts and Sciences
competitions. We
play music for
dancing and music
in court. We
regularly play
and sing music
with other
musicians and
musical groups
around the
Kingdom.
People
of all skill
levels are
welcome to
participate. If
you feel that you
would prefer a
more learning
environment (vs.
performing),
there is a
Beginner’s
Music Guild
available.
The
Beginner’s
Music Guild is a
place where you
can learn to read
music, to play an
instrument or to
sing. All you
need to bring is
your instrument
(or voice) and a
willing heart.
